It's not a tank...

We were asked to support the American Legion's 2nd Annual Troop Support Ride. Having been deployed before, we could hardly say no.

We brought out the Bradley Fighting Vehicle. We then spent the better part of the day explaining that it is not a tank. For those outside the know, the Bradley is an Infantry support/transport vehicle. Fully capable of killing a tank (as long as we see it first of course) but not a tank.

We were part of the parade, which turned into a race to the other legion. Poor communication with local law enforcement left us driving without escort. Needless to say, when you take up two lanes, it is a little hard to get across two towns.

Aside from that, it was a great event. Nearly 1,000 riders showed up.
